Year Of The Tiger Tea-Shirt
Year Of The Tiger Tea-Shirt
Listen - we all wear t-shirts, and these are really, really, nice ones; plus I think we deserve enormous credit for not succumbing to tea shirt based puns.
Incredibly comfortable - soft, light - a little longer in the torso than some. They fit true to size and look, if I may, damn sharp.
Unisex sizing across kids and adults; 100% ringspun cotton - screenprinted just down the road in Maine.
These shirts feature new artwork by our longtime friend Ben Hillman, paired with a poem by prolific Song Dynasty poet Lu You that came to us drifting across the centuries like just another cloud.
Lu You who lived in the waning and indolent days of the failing Southern Song Dynasty was a poet, civil servant, military strategist. Now venerated for his patriotic fervor he seems to have clashed with every system in which he worked, eventually retiring to the countryside where the majority of his surviving 10,000 poems were written. As an aside, he should not be confused with Lu Yu - the author of the seminal text the "Classic of Tea."
