Organic Oolong Teas From China
Little Red Cup Tea now has four amazing Organic Oolong Teas on offer. Two of these fabulous teas are from the remote, mountainous, regions of Hubei Province: Organic Jade Oolong and Organic Da Hong Pao. The other two come from Fujian Province with the tea plantations distributed in mountainous areas above 1200 feet above sea level.
Our Jade Oolong, is an utterly classic, true to form, and incredibly delicious oolong tea in the Tie Guan Yin style. Da Hong Pao is a much less uncommon, very dark, oolong. Only recently available as an organic, Fair Trade tea, this incredible rock tea is robust, delicious, and instantly likeable. Organic Bao Zhong Oolong is a medium green oolong made in the Taiwanese style, so fresh tasting, and Organic Eastern Beauty, is a much darker oolong, highly oxidized, and especially sweet variety.
Think of them as a spectrum from almost green to almost black: Jade Oolong, Bao Zhong Oolong, Eastern Beauty Oolong and Da Hong Pao Oolong.
