Yunnan Black

Origin: Yunnan

Our Yunnan Black (滇紅茶) hails from Lincang, a stone's throw from Burma and home to some of the oldest cultivated tea in the world. Hand picked and tightly rolled, the golden tipped leaves produce a deep amber brew — with light notes of grapes and honey. An instant classic.

Yunnan Black is available by 2 oz tin or by the pound. Wondering if you'll like it? Try a taste! Tasting samples are available for all our teas and good for two cups.

Best black tea in the house

This tea is beautiful and very tasty. I had another brand under the same name in the house before this arrived. I'm having a hard time finishing it up, as this is so much more enjoyable to drink. The leaves are full and appealing in appearance, and the aroma of the dry tea is absolutely refreshing. Therefore, the actual drinking of the tea is just that much better. Will definitely purchase again!

Saved by the shots: I’m bringing a thermos with me next year

LRC is the best! I got hooked at the common ground fair...I was desperate, the lrc people had mercy on me and gave me a couple of extra “shots” There isn’t a cup of tea(and REALLY lousy coffe) for sale! Live in so. Me., asked for lrc @ Roux’s on Commercial st...they said they were out , to try health food store around the corner on India st. Asked there and also was told were out.!

The best black tea i ever drank...
Very strong flavor and caffeine.
I think this will make great ice tea.
I will be ordering more soon.
Thank you very much to Little Red Cup Tea Co.
for providing this excellent tea.

Refreshing, Light, Black Tea

I usually prefer the malty, chocolatey black teas like Wuyuan black, but this tea has a nice lighter black tea. It has honey/grapey notes similar to a darjeeling, but much smoother. It's refreshing when hot or iced (cold-brew). I definitely recommend it for Summer time.
