Organic White Peony

This tea is like nothing I’ve ever had. My favourite is the White Peony. The first two shipments were sent to me as a gift from a dear friend. I love the personal notes from Mike. FINALLY!!! The most beautiful White Peony ever!!! I love White Peony so much…I had been buying it for a long time from a different supplier but their quality seemed to go downhill with every order. The bags were full of more sticks and stems than leaves and buds, and finally I received a bag that had the most horrendous flavor and I was absolutely baffled that they would sell something that brewed like swamp water. I haven’t ordered from anyone since because I was so put off but when I heard about Little Red Cup and saw they had organic, fair trade White Peony I knew I had to try it. I ordered this and some green teas in the four tea sampler and OH. MY. WORD. Every tea is truly outstanding!!! Divine flavor, so clean, and those little tins are packed full! The photo of the tin contents is from after I’ve made a big pot already. My order even came with the sweetest handwritten note from Mike! And it arrived on the day I came home from a surgery so the perfect timing made it even better. I will absolutely be ordering all my WP and green teas from LRC from now on! Thank you!!!

This tea is so great. It has a smooth taste. You won’t be sorry with this tea.

This tea is an excellent example of what white tea should be: lighter caffeine but fully flavoured when allowed to steep. I highly recommend it.

I ordered a sample pack, not knowing which teas to try. This was the first one I tried and it is amazing! Very mellow and smooth. Really lovely warm and after it cooled as well.

Peonies are my favorite flowers so naturally I had to try this. This tea does not disappoint. It's so smooth and delicate in taste and pairs perfectly with a little honey. I prefer to steep this at 185 F instead of 180 for a little extra body. This is one of my favorites from LRCT so far :)

I bought this after reading a number of on-line reviews and were they right. This is a light, semi-sweet tea that is great for making Ice tea. I make a pitcher of it and store away for those hot summer days. Really great choice.

This is a delightful leaf that brews up very light, almost clear and has a light floral flavor. I like it for the second cup of the morning and add more leaves to make it a bit more substantial.

I have been drinking organic Bai Mudan for several years, and was glad to come across Little Red Cup White Peony - a Bai Mudan - last summer. It has a full spectrum flavor, yet remains smooth and creamy throughout each subsequent wetting of the leaves. Highly recommend it!
