All Little Red Cup Tea is whole leaf, organic, Fair Trade certified, and tremendously good to drink. Our teas are grown on small, privately cultivated plots high in the terraced mountains of Northeastern Jiangxi Province, China. The processing is done by a cooperative owned by the farmers themselves, many of whom come from families who have been raising tea for generations. Collectively, the farmers were some of the first to sell organic certified tea in China, and they were also instrumental in the establishment of Fair Trade certifications in the country.
Little Red Cup Teas are carefully processed in a state of the art plant, and then shipped across two oceans to Maine, where they are packaged in environmentally friendly (fully recyclable) sacks and sent on to you.
